We work closely with you to customise your BASECAMP design, to give you a personal one of a kind adventure van. Handcrafted using the highest quality materials and components that have been tried and tested out on the road.

Size matters

After many years of creating adventure vans we have honed in on the Mid Wheel Base (MWB) Mercedes Sprinter and now exclusively use these powerful and reliable vans as our base vehicles.

In our experience a MWB Sprinter is the perfect size for a truly capable adventure van that can access those tight backcountry trails as well as being easy to navigate city streets.

Rugged Head Turner

The importance of natural light is often overlooked in a van. The BASECAMP layout incorporates both sliding and safari windows, coupled with a Maxxair fan for perfect ventalation.

Your choice of Rogue Alloy wheels coupled with All Terrain BF Goodrich Tyres, gives you that extra reach beyond your average van dweller.

Rack and ladder options give you the space to load up your toys to enable your adventures and a place to relax with a sunset beer.

With clever design we make sure your exterior is as stunning as your interior.

Bespoke Furniture

All furniture is hand built using the highest quality lightweight poplar plywood naturally finished with careful applications of Osmo oil.

Fine tune your aesthetic with your choice of bonded Formica laminate or Forbo furniture lino cupboard fronts, matched with robust slam latches.

For a sustainable, lightweight and durable surface, we use a caramel bamboo worktop finished with a hard wearing Osmo oil.

Off Grid Electrical System

Every build is fitted with the flagship 460ah Lithium battery by Roamer and integrated with a full Victron set up to allow you to go off grid for longer.

A 3000 VA inverter enables you to power an induction hob and even an air fryer. With up to 400 watts of solar on the roof and a robust 50 amp battery to battery charger you are never short of power.

120 amps of charging via electric hook up is also available for when you need a power boost.

All monitored via an integrated touch screen to enable you to stay in control.

Dual Source Heating

The compact Truma Combi D4E is a perfect system for heating both your water and living space using either electric or diesel energy sources.

Designed to be able to run whilst driving and overnight, whilst being plumbed directly into your vehicle diesel tank or via electric hook up, you can rest easy knowing you will have a warm nights sleep.

With a pressurised hot and cold water system fed from a huge internal 100 litre fresh water tank, you can have the comforts of home whilst in middle of nowhere. There is nothing better than coming back to cosy van and having a hot outdoor shower after a day exploring.

All season capability

Snow or sun, your adventure van is kept warm or cool with the all-season Dodo Mat insulation system.

Dodo Thermo Liner is used on all metal surfaces to give a combination of low thermal conductivity and high water vapour diffusion resistance.

Like a down jacket, Dodo Fleece is layered on top of the Thermo Liner to give maximum heat retention. A safe and sustainable option containing 100% recycled polyester, so will not absorb moisture in high humidity conditions and does not support mould growth.
